A new collaboration series with artists, performers, sports persons…exploring the power within them through lights, camera and a lot of style.
First up from our Power Series, the uber talented Tanvie Hans – pro footballer, Nike athlete and the captain of the Karnataka Women’s Football Team. Tanvie appeared on one of our Firebird Phase panels in 2021 and has been a part of the Alma Talent Pool since then. In our latest collaboration with her we have attempted to bring forth the strength that she showcases both on and off field cause ‘Strength is Sexy’.
And here’s a little note from our photographer and stylist on how this frame came together.
Romel Dias , Photographer: We knew we wanted to play with softness and elegance along with the muscular and edgy when it came to Tanvi because she can straddle all of this with ease! When we were ideating on this shoot we also knew we wanted it to feel limitless and hence we have this feeling of infinity behind her to create this powerful shot!
Deeti Mehta , Stylist: Football is sexy and so is Tanvie Hans. I wanted to exhibit the sheer strength and balance that Tanvie emits with a silken touch of oomph and appeal. I decided to give her a silk dress in magenta which contains the passion, power and energy of red yet is restrained by the introspection and quiet energy of violet.
The look was complete with a pair of blue heels, forever fashionable golden hoops and sexy white lingerie socks making the whole ensemble ultra-glam and bold.
